About knowledge and talent

Dr. Gerhard Wohland is one of the free German thinkers regarding Knowledge. His main points are that there is dead and life in any company and system. The larger a company is – the more likely they try to standardise every process, make it repeatable and create value from generating a small margin within a mass market. Companies are used to this behaviour and so they manage knowledge: They collect it, separtes it, make it a document and try to dobble it by sharing. But – as he points out – this behaviour is industrial and does not create solutions in dynamic situations. Only talents – people who can see, understand and think in new ways, can find a new idea out of a dynamic situation. We cannot copy or put talent in a database. We can only ask „who will be the one?“ and „how can we provide the space for them to think?“

If you understand German – see the video and see the article. 1. Chaos und Dynamik.Dr.
