Does Working from home work? Study Standford

By 6. März 2012 No Comments

A very old and very emotional subject: Can work from home be good, be efficient and how do we have control? It is the big question from theory x and y, if people are self-motivated or not. So the team around Prof Nick Bloom got a wonderful study ground in Shanghai. Network counts. James Liang, the Ctrip-founder, did his PHd at Standford. The topic was to analyze the behavior of people working in call-centers. The result: it works. 12 % more productivity and more stability, less people left the company and the satisfaction is higher. This saves time and cost, as every new employee needs nearly 6 month to get on board.

28.02.2012,  Handelsblatt, Wissenswert nachzulesen online https://www.handelsblatt.com/6258412.html
